2025-2026 Celebrating a Legacy, Embracing the Future
This year began with an exciting and enriching summer as IYC organized two international service trips that provided youth with opportunities for community service, cultural exchange, leadership development, and global learning. These experiences set the tone for another year dedicated to service, growth, and meaningful impact.
The 2025–2026 year marked another meaningful chapter in IYC's journey. Throughout the year, our members continued to serve their communities with compassion, embrace new learning opportunities, and grow as leaders through local and international service projects. From supporting those in need to protecting the environment and building friendships across cultures, every experience reflected our commitment to making a positive difference.
As the year drew to a close, IMPACT completed a remarkable chapter after more than a decade of inspiring youth through music, volunteerism, and leadership. Founder Ms. Wendy Wu stepped into a new chapter of life, entrusting the future of the organization to the next generation. While her leadership came to a close, the spirit and values she cultivated continue through IMPACT Youth Club (IYC) and the young leaders who will carry this legacy forward.
2025 USA Service Trip
The 2025 USA Service Trip brought together youth participants from the United States and Taiwan for a week of community service, cultural exchange, outdoor exploration, and leadership development in New Jersey. Through hands-on volunteer projects, environmental stewardship activities, and educational visits to historical and cultural landmarks, participants worked side by side while building friendships across cultures and strengthening their commitment to serving others.
This trip provided personal growth, teamwork, and meaningful reflection. The experience concluded with a youth symposium where participants shared what they had learned through service, discussed their cross-cultural experiences, and reflected on how compassion, collaboration, and global citizenship can create lasting positive change.
Ladakh Eye Care Service Expedition
In 2025 summer, in collaboration with York Fine Arts, this international service expedition to Ladakh, India, combined humanitarian outreach with cultural immersion, giving IYC volunteers the opportunity to serve remote Himalayan communities. We conducted vision screenings, distributed sunglasses and eye medications, and promoted eye health education at schools, monasteries, hospitals, and local villages, improving access to essential eye care in underserved areas.
Beyond volunteer service, participants explored Ladakh's rich culture, breathtaking landscapes, and centuries-old traditions while developing a deeper appreciation for compassion, service, and global citizenship.
"Rosemead" Private Screening
On January 24, 2026, Impact Youth Club (IYC) hosted a special private screening of Rosemead, a film produced by and starring Lucy Liu, at AMC Theatres in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The event welcomed more than 100 attendees, bringing together youth, parents, and community members for an evening of film and meaningful dialogue.
Following the screening, audience members participated in an engaging discussion, sharing thoughtful perspectives as Asian mothers, teenagers, and community members. The conversation explored the film's themes while encouraging empathy, cross-generational understanding, and open communication.

2026 IMPACT & IYC Celebration
On June 7, the IMPACT family recently gathered at the Bridgewater Manor in New Jersey for our 2026 IMPACT & IYC Celebration. Over a hundred music teachers, parents, current members, and alumni joined us to celebrate our 15 years of music and service, youth volunteers, and to honor our graduates.
Many of our alumni "return to the nest" to inspire the younger generation. They shared how IYC provided them with essential leadership and communication skills, the confidence to step out of their comfort zones, and lifelong friendships with like-minded peers.
