2011-2012 Where It All Began
International Musicians' Performing Arts Cultural Troupe (IMPACT) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2011 by renowned piano educator Wendy Wu. With more than 30 years of teaching experience, Ms. Wu has mentored countless young pianists and served as Chair of the New Jersey Music Teachers Association Young Musician Piano Competition and the Young Artists Competition of the Bravura Philharmonic Orchestra.
Inspired by her passion for music education and youth development, Ms. Wu established IMPACT to enrich communities through music, education, and cultural exchange. Through innovative concerts, educational outreach, and international performance opportunities, IMPACT celebrates the diversity of world cultures while nurturing aspiring artists and young musicians. In partnership with organizations that share its mission, IMPACT creates meaningful educational and cultural exchange experiences through local and international concert tours, fostering artistic excellence, cultural appreciation, and global understanding.
As Ms. Wu witnessed the transformative power of music in the lives of young people, her vision expanded beyond the concert stage. In 2013, she founded Impact Youth Club (IYC) to empower youth to become compassionate leaders through volunteer service, community engagement, and meaningful projects. Today, IYC continues to carry forward her vision, inspiring the next generation to lead with compassion, serve with purpose, and create meaningful impact in their communities.

“Music connects and unifies people.
Music is a universal language that can reach the listener’s heart and soul.”
— Wendy Wu, Founder
