IYC Taiwan Branch
IMPACT Youth Club (IYC) Taiwan began when our initiator president, Edward Lu, was inspired by IYC’s impactful work in the United States and hoped to build a platform for youth service in Taiwan. Under the authorization and mentorship of the IYC founder Ms. Wendy, and together with our 2025–26 president, Audrey Wu, his long-time partner in charity concerts and instrument donation projects, they launched early activities through musical performances in senior centers and hospitals, using music to bring comfort, connection, and joy.

Since then, IYC Taiwan has grown into a diverse and active community. Students from six different schools, with more than 50 volunteers involved, now collaborate across projects and support one another’s ideas. Our members design their own service initiatives based on their personal interests and strengths, creating a wide range of original student-led projects, including iCare Eye Care, Puppet Show Education Skits, Calligraphy for Charity, Reach AI & Chess Tutoring, Therapy Dog & Board Games, and many others proposed during our monthly meetings.

Many of these initiatives contribute directly to global and local SDG goals, including good health and well-being (SDG 3), quality education (SDG 4), reduced inequalities (SDG 10), sustainable cities and communities (SDG 11), and partnerships for the goals (SDG 17).
What makes IYC Taiwan special is our collaborative, student-driven spirit. We combine our talents to promote cultural exchange, community support, and accessible learning. With leadership passed down each year, we aim to continue making a meaningful and lasting impact for years to come.

If you're a student who wants to make a real difference, meet like-minded peers, and take on meaningful projects, this is your chance to get involved. We're committed to empowering youth and creating meaningful change in our local community.
