My First Experience
Updated: Jul 28

We recently held a senior center concert at Fellowship Village in Basking Ridge, NJ. We were initially greeted by an eager audience of seniors who were excited to see us perform. I thought this was a great experience, and I would recommend it to anyone.
By hosting a concert, you can gain many life skills you might not learn elsewhere. When I was organizing this event, I needed to work with adults to make it successful. I collaborated with the staff at Fellowship Village to organize the entire concert.
Hosting a concert can also boost your self-confidence because you are speaking to a large audience. In addition, if you are a performer, you also have the opportunity to play an instrument in front of many people, which helps build confidence. Performing for a large audience also improves your musical skills. I find myself practicing more before a concert to make sure I give the best performance possible. I'm excited to host another concert in the near future, and I hope we can make the next one even better!
