About the event
We are excited to invite you to a special private screening of the independent film "Rosemead" on Sunday, January 25, at 2:00 PM.
This event is a significant part of our community outreach and serves several important goals for IMPACT Youth Club:
Mental Health Awareness: To bring vital awareness to youth mental health issues and foster open dialogue within our families.
Supporting Asian Representation: To promote this powerful independent film, which is written, directed, and starred by Asian immigrants, highlighting the authentic experiences of Asian immigrant life in the U.S.
Community Engagement: To bring our IYC family together for a meaningful shared experience.
Special Guest & Q&A
We are honored to announce that the film’s screenwriter, the talented Marilyn Fu, will join us in person! She will participate in a live Q&A session immediately following the screening.
How You Can Get Involved
Attend & Support: Join us at AMC Loews New Brunswick 18. Tickets are available via the QR code on the attached flyer.
Submit Your Questions: We want to hear from you! Please reply to this email with any questions you have for Marilyn Fu. We will also be collecting questions during our all-member meeting on January 24.
Volunteer Hours: All members who participate the movie events will receive 6 volunteer hours.
After the film, we invite everyone to join us for a post-movie dinner at Sakura Restaurant to continue the conversation.
