Presidio Habitat Stewards (PHS) - Yan Milman
Presidio Habitat Stewards (PHS) help revitalize damaged ecosystems and preserve the natural areas of the Presidio. Our volunteer work with PHS includes weekly weeding, mulching, cleaning trail heads, and planting native species.
Join us and help support our restoration work in the Presidio here in San Francisco. PHS meets every Saturday from 9am-noon.
Origidgets for UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital - Liya Milman
I'm creating handmade fidget toys for hospital patients at the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital in SF. Each donation package will comprise of 30 fidget toys made out of paper origami, called Origidget (Origami + Fidget). These origami fidget toys are a great way for young patients at the hospital to relieve anxiety and stress. Each ready-made Origidget will come with detailed instructions on the package on how to play with them.
Tat Wong Kung Fu Academy Teaching Assistant - Liya Milman
As a black belt in Kung Fu, I do weekly volunteer work with Tat Wong Academy as a teaching assistant where I help teach young kids in our community to learn self defense and martial arts skills in their classes.

San Francisco OnLok Senior Center Seasonal Greeting Cards - Yan Milman
The purpose of this project is to create seasonal greeting or birthday cards for seniors at San Francisco's OnLok senior center in hopes of making their birthday or the holiday season even more special. Each card will have thematic hand colored line drawings and and will also include a personal hand written note. My first set of cards will be birthday cards, and the next set will be celebrating the Autumn Moon Festival.
