On October 26, 2019, IMPACT Youth Club held an Alzheimer’s fundraising concert at the Chelsea at Bridgewater Senior Living Center. Not only did this concert allow young teenagers to share their musical interests and talents, but it also brought the community together for a good cause. The seniors at Chelsea, parents, and adults from the area all came to donate for Alzheimer’s and enjoy the music.
IMPACT was especially honored to have William Chen, an accomplished 16-year-old pianist, who has won several awards such as the Grand Prize in the New York Music Competition for Young Artists, to come to play for the concert. The Alzheimer’s fundraising concert also had a bake sale and flower sale, along with a raffle with gift basket prizes. Additionally, the IYC volunteers helped ensure that the concert ran smoothly. Ultimately, IMPACT is elated to announce that the concert has raised over $1,100 to be donated to Alzheimer’s New Jersey
